I'm thrilled to finally announce the release of my first solo CD
"The Key". It has truly been a labor of love. I've worked
on this project for 5 long, hard, years. It features 13 original
songs including "If I Had My Own Cadillac" winner of the
prestigious John Lennon Honorable Mention Award. The song "Someone"
is featured in the 2005 Hollywood Film Festival movie "A Couple
of Days and Nights" which had it's world premier on Oct. 22nd,
2005, (the movie also features a new original song from the legendary
rock group Heart). There are 10 more songs that run the gamut from
heartfelt ballads to contemporary pop. Another gem is the high energy
"Ain't It Strange", a song written with one of my good
friends Burt B.K. Diaz.
One of my personal favorites, "Again and Again", is a
real power ballad co-written with one of my closest lifelong friends
Joee Corso.
I set out to make a sophisticated blend of my favorite
music and to introduce myself to the world as a singer songwriter
for the first time in my career. Having had the privilege
to work with so many great performers over the years playing
bass and singing with Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame and industry
legends such as Smokey Robinson, Ronnie James Dio, The Gin
Blossoms, Tower of Power, and Dweezil Zappa just to name
a few, gave me the courage to finally step into the spotlight
myself. My music is influenced by my eclectic taste
ranging from old, new, pop, country, rock, soul, R & B,
etc. You name it and it's felt in my songwriting.
The sound
fidelity comes from multi platinum record producer Michael
Vail Blum who has worked with giants like Madonna, Michael
Jackson, The Who, Bob Dylan, and on and on. If you love amazing
performances you'll love the players on this CD. Albe Bonacci
on drums, a Diane Warren drummer, it doesn't get any better
than that. Todd Carlon - Piano & Keyboards, currently
working with Paul Anka and a regular with David Foster. Holger
Fath- Electric Guitars, a Grammy award winning guitar player.
Glenn Jordan - a multi Emmy award winning music composer,
musician (Sha Na Na to Pee Wee's Playhouse). He helped arrange,
co write and make all the background vocals come to life and
so much more that I can't even list it all here. Sprinkle
in one of Bette Midler's background singers, "The Harlettes",
Rhae Ann Theriault and R&B singer Teresa James, and you've
got the makings for "Platinum"... Ron did play the
bass, acoustic guitars and sing. "It's my record,
I thought I should!!!"
Thank you all again for all your support over
the years.
Enjoy the music...

It's done, “The Love All People Club”. 3 years of hard work has paid off to
produce 43:00 minutes of brand new music. This project allowed me to
create music with some of my best friends in life and in music, and allowed
me to break new ground without changing direction from my last CD "The
Key". A new CD is like a new child, full of excitement, hope and
amazement. The minute you start creating, you put your life story into it,
and it reflects your life and the relationships you enjoy with the people
around you and ultimately the universe. This CD represents who I am, what
I'm made of, and listening to this collection of songs should help you all to
feel my life through the music.
Let me take a second to do a little name dropping and bragging about
some of the wonderfully gifted and talented people that helped me create
“The Love All People Club”. Lets start with the very first thing you hear
when your listen to music, the "sound". And to get my "sound" I went to the
best there is. My good friend of 20 years and counting, Michael Vail Blum -
Co-Producer and Sound Engineer. His credits include "Pink Floyd",
“Madonna”, “Footloose Soundtrack” “Julian Lennon”, “Peter Cetera” just to
name a few.
And now the players:
Tom Walsh - Drums and Percussion, credits include "America", "Joe Cocker"
and "Supertramp"
Todd Carlon - Piano & Keyboards, credits include "Paul Anka", "Maynard
Ferguson" "Bette Midler"
Holger Fath - Electric Guitars, credits include "Marcos Witt", "Stan Bush",
"Canzion"
Glenn Jordan - Everything , credits include "Kanye West", "Sha Na Na",
"The Beach Boys"
And I did my part by writing all the songs and playing bass, acoustic guitars
and singing.
I’m so proud of “The Love All People Club” and I can’t wait for you to hear
it...
Enjoy the music...
